JMC is a non-profit foundation dedicated to supporting literacy efforts for young learners. Our mission is to provide community service, literacy and scholarship support and to honor the life of Jacob Martin Maxfield.  JMC provides opportunities for people to connect with their community and each other.

 Our programs are designed to inspire others to reach out to one another and remember that we can all do something to help others.

Fact: 250 million children worldwide lack basic reading and writing skills. Our events are designed to raise awareness of these facts and keep pushing forward.
